POLICY
50% extra for hides to be tanned cased.
No hair off hides accepted Jan. 20th. to Oct. 1st.
All hides will shrink from 15 to 20% in tanning. You can get them back to their original size by making the leather side of hide wet. Then pull and stretch the hide out on a piece of plywood and pin or nail it along the edge. When the hide is completely dry, you can remove it and it will stay just the size and shape you had it on the board. If you wish, we will do this for you at an extra charge.
Whenever possible, bring your head and cape to us for skinning. If this is not possible please call for instructions. If you can not get your cape or hide to us right away you may also freeze it, which is one of the safest ways to be sure that it does not spoil.
